DPO-2613: Senior Program Analyst

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Member of the SPARTA C2BMC SETA Support staff with a primary work assignment supporting the MDA C2BMC Program Directorate's Product Development organization (BCD). This assignment requires a seasoned professional with a detailed understanding of BMDS Command, Control and Battle Management, government acquisition regulations, and evolutionary acquisition program management as it applies to software development, and spiral software development processes.

This position will be integrated into the BCD organization staff and responsive to assignment-specific and ad-hoc tasks, and is expected to take responsibility for action completion, associated coordination and report-out as applicable. Tasks may include travel to support coordination with external organizations, as well as the MDNT-B. Responsibilities will include technical and programmatic coordination with BCD leadership; technical and programmatic review and assessment of MDNT-B development activity, processes and procedures; as well as the following specific planned assignments:

* Maintain cognizance, tracking, and status of C2 products.
* Manage program schedules for all phases of C2 product life cycles. Must interface with MDNT-B development, integration, test, fielding personnel to report back program status to the Product Manager.
* Engage with MDNT-B Development and Block Management to maintain cognizance and status of development and fielded operational software configurations for C2 products.
* Identify and understand software development issues, advise on status and schedule, and provide recommended resolution / mitigation plans
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must have a bachelors degree in a technical or business field and 10 years experience in acquisition management. Defense Acquisition University certifications in acquisition desired.
